Dr. Beatrice Biasini

 

 

Dr Biasini is currently Assistant Professor in Human Nutrition at the University of Parma. After graduating in Biology and Biology Applied to Nutrition Sciences, she obtained her PhD in Food Science in May 2020 and held research grants at her affiliated Dept. from 2020 to 2023.
 
Dr Biasini's research activity consists of studying the eating habits and behaviour of different population groups, with particular reference to adherence to the Mediterranean Diet and environmental sustainability. She is involved in observational and intervention studies aimed at investigating (or promoting) nutritional knowledge and food sustainability in healthy subjects. Dr. Biasini has contributed to more than 20 publications, including 19 in international peer-reviewed journals and 2 participations in the writing of book chapters, and more than 30 contributions in international conferences.
