Marta Berzaghi

 

 

Marta graduated in Food Sciences for Innovation and Authenticity (LM 70) at the Free University of Bolzano with a focus in nutrition implemented at the University of Parma thanks to a collaboration between the two academies. She is currently in the second year of her PhD program in Food Science at the University of Parma under the supervision of professors Del Rio and Bresciani.

Her current research focuses on the development of new approaches for the evaluation of the metabolism of bioactive compounds of nutritional interest, in particular on the study of mass spectrometry imaging technique applied on animal tissues for the analysis of the metabolism, transport and absorption of phenol compounds.
